Make it Good

Gake it Good is a grassroots movement that started in 2004 as a collective of Calgarians who believe that business people and entrepreneurs have a role to play through their work life in making Calgary a better place.

It’s about bringing together like-minded, values-driven entrepreneurs who are grounded in a philosophy of community betterment and social responsibility.

In October of 2006, Make it Good held a series of events in Calgary, facilitated by David Grayson, a prominent expert in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility in the U.K. These events marked the launch of the movement and the public release of research findings from a comprehensive study commissioned by Make it Good on the community engagement practices of local small and medium-sized enterprises.

The initiative has evolved since its early days to encompass a broader vision for sustainable communities.

Gloria Stewart, President of Touchworks, has been the Chair of the movement since its inception.
