n 2006, Touchworks became a member of the Imagine Canada Caring Company program whereby we have committed to the following:
• To donate a minimum of 1% of pre-tax profits to support charitable and nonprofit
organizations. (We already exceed this percentage on an annual basis.)
• To encourage and facilitate the personal charitable giving and volunteer involvement of
our employees. (We have an employee volunteering program whereby each staff
member is given one day per month, with pay, to volunteer with an organization they
care about. We have 100% participation of our staff.)
• To champion and sustain at least one community investment project that is supported
by the President and leverage the skills and competencies of the company to make a
difference in the community. (In addition to pro-bono work that we undertake in our
community, the President chairs a community engagement movement called Make it
Good.)
• To demonstrate leadership by annually publishing a public report that displays the
Imagine Logo and describes the company’s community investment and citizenship
activities. (We proudly display the Imagine logo on all our printed materials and will
be annually posting activities that we are involved in during the year on our website.)
